Use the path that matches your responsibility. A production deployment usually requires several of these roles to work together.
Buyer or service owner
Use this path to evaluate the service and establish ownership:

Azure administrator
Use this path to prepare and deploy the managed application:
- Complete Marketplace prerequisites.
- Fill in the deployment planning worksheet.
- Deploy your first instance.
- Follow deployment status.
- Review deployment outputs.
Network or DNS administrator
Use this path to establish the approved connection:
- Complete the network design.
- Choose public or private access.
- For private access, configure the Private Endpoint, DNS, and TLS in that order.
- Use connectivity troubleshooting to validate the complete path.
Security or identity administrator
Use this path to establish authentication and least privilege:
- Sign in securely.
- Manage users and roles.
- Configure Microsoft Entra single sign-on when the managed action is available.
- Review roles and permissions.
Elastic administrator
Use this path for application-level administration:
- Onboard data.
- Monitor health and capacity.
- Review snapshots and restore.
- Prepare for maintenance and upgrades.
Data user
Use this path to validate access and work with approved data:
