Operations overview

Use the managed application view, Elasticsearch and Kibana product interfaces, and approved support actions. Do not modify the managed infrastructure directly.

Operational rhythm

Daily

• Check service availability and important ingestion failures.
• Review cluster health and capacity alerts.
• Investigate authentication or certificate warnings.

Weekly

• Review data growth, shard health, query performance, and failed jobs.
• Confirm that snapshot operations are succeeding where configured.
• Review open deployment or support actions.

Before a planned change

• Confirm ownership, scope, risk, validation, rollback, and maintenance timing.
• Take or verify a usable snapshot when the change can affect data.
• Test access with a non-administrator account after the change.

• Prepare for upgrades
• Renew TLS certificates
• Delete the application

Record customer-visible changes and their validation results. Never place passwords, access tokens, private keys, or unredacted diagnostics in the change record.
