Use the managed application view, Elasticsearch and Kibana product interfaces, and approved support actions. Do not modify the managed infrastructure directly.
Operational rhythm
Daily
- Check service availability and important ingestion failures.
- Review cluster health and capacity alerts.
- Investigate authentication or certificate warnings.
Weekly
- Review data growth, shard health, query performance, and failed jobs.
- Confirm that snapshot operations are succeeding where configured.
- Review open deployment or support actions.
Before a planned change
- Confirm ownership, scope, risk, validation, rollback, and maintenance timing.
- Take or verify a usable snapshot when the change can affect data.
- Test access with a non-administrator account after the change.

Record customer-visible changes and their validation results. Never place passwords, access tokens, private keys, or unredacted diagnostics in the change record.
